The story of absinthe is a tale of history and myth, propaganda and lies. Beloved, cursed, praised and demonized, the green fairy is the most misunderstood and misrepresented of all spirits.

At Absinthia, we're putting the record to rights. Here we celebrate absinthe and her rituals in all their glory. Here we offer over 40 traditionally distilled varieties of absinthe on our specifically designed absinthe bar, served and consumed in the manner of the Belle Epoque.

Here we serve  absinthe, cocktails, speciality cocktails, wine and craft beer. Here we have a drink for every poet, dreamer, artist, and adventurer - whoever you might be.

Here we celebrate absinthe's storied past with an eye towards the future.

October is breast cancer awareness month. Absinthia wants to contribute in any way possible by hosting a fundraising event. All door sales, raffle funds, and 10% of bar sales will be donated to So Brave, a charity committed to raising breast cancer awareness in young women.

$20 tickets (purchased at the door) include a glass of sparkling upon arrival, some light canapés and a chance to win the lucky door prize of a brand new pair of Valentino sunglasses donated by Pamela Zugec. Children are also welcome at no charge.

Raffles will also be available for:
- A 1 hour massage donated by Melbourne Shiatsu
- An original artwork donated by BrettSixtySix
- A bottle of Absinthe donated by Absinthia

A big thank you to Pam, Dan and Brett for their generous contributions.
